Old Hollywood never seems to lose its appeal, with stars like Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe still commanding our attention. Not only do we love looking and speaking like them, we love living like them, which is why celebrity real estate is always going to spark some interest. Listed with Joe Babajian, 2260 Maravilla Drive in Los Angeles has plenty going for it, from its prime location overlooking the city in the Outpost Estates to its list of former residents (like Bela Lugosi and Sinatra himself) — plus, it takes a pretty great photo.

Priced at just $4.9 million, this four bedroom, four bathroom estate is a pretty great steal. Sitting on a 11,615-square-foot lot, the entire villa offers amazing Los Angeles views, as well as 4,200 square feet of living space. Not only did Dracula himself live here (Bela Lugosi) in the 1930s, this residence was the first home of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner in the early 1950s. Plus, names like Ben Affleck, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Charlize Theron, Salma Hayek, Ben Stiller and Marilu Henner have all lived in the neighborhood, so there's a pretty good chance you'll be living among some star power.

The home's main floor has a kitchen, dining room, and a living and family room with a double-sided marble fireplace. The living area features huge sliding glass doors to open the interior up to the city views and give that relaxing Southern Californian feel. The floor above is where you will find the grand master bedroom and bath, with its own patio, and two extra bedrooms. There's also an entertainment level that opens up to an infinity pool with panoramic views, with an additional guest suite and bath.
Having been fully renovated, the estate comes complete with top-of-the-line upgrades, like gray stained French oak wood flooring and an integrated sound/security system.

Virtual Windscreen and Smart Assist on Futuristic JLR Drives

Virtual Windscreen and Smart Assist on Futuristic JLR DrivesOn the horizon for Jaguar Land Rover is a selection intelligent cars which will have their own on-board ‘Smart Assistant' to carry out a range of functions that allow the driver to concentrate on driving by including a virtual windscreen, which will work as a heads-up display projecting all important navigation icons.

What's more, JLR's new car concept will recognise drivers by their smartphone, and by the time the driver has opened the car door, the mirrors, steering wheel and seat settings will all be geared to their individual preferences. The cabin will be pre-set to their preferred temperature, and will automatically change and adjust itself.

Through the ‘Smart Assistant' feature, the car will review the driver's schedule and set the navigation depending on traffic conditions to avoid congestion. It will also predict the driver's next destination based on their schedule.

Other handy features include Fuel Assist, which can suggest a driver's preferred filling stations or advise the driver whether they need to fill up the day before a long trip; Predictive Phone Call, which predicts who the driver is likely to call in certain situations; Intelligent Notifications, which allows the car to alert people that the driver will be late; and Auto Adaptive Cruise Control, which applies a distance setting learned from the owner's driving style.

Virtual Windscreen and Smart Assist on the New JLR Drives

Jaguar Land Rover has not yet confirmed when this technology will be in the hands of consumers, but it says it could happen in the next few years.
